Terms of Service
The agreement that governs your use of FindTalents.

By using FindTalents you also agree to our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and (for Talent) the Talent Agreement.
1. Overview and acceptance
FindTalents is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent professionals ("Talent") for local services. By creating an account, browsing, booking, offering services, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and (if you offer services) the Talent Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use FindTalents. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and FindTalents.
2. Definitions
"Platform" means the FindTalents website, applications, and related services. "Customer" means a user who books or seeks services. "Talent" means a user who offers services. "Job" or "Booking" means a service arrangement facilitated through the platform. "Escrow" means funds held by our payment processor until release conditions are met. "Content" means text, images, reviews, messages, listings, and other material you submit.
3. The marketplace is a venue only
FindTalents provides technology, matching, messaging, escrow, reputation, and dispute tools. We do not perform services, employ Talent, supervise work on site, or control scheduling, methods, or outcomes. Talent are independent contractors, not employees, agents, joint venturers, or partners of FindTalents. We are not a party to the contract between a Customer and Talent for the underlying service. Any agreement about scope, price, timing, or quality is between those users.
4. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. One account may act as both Customer and Talent, with separate reputation scores for each role. You may not create multiple accounts to evade enforcement, manipulate reviews, or circumvent fees.
5. Verification, badges, and background screening
We may offer phone, identity, insurance, background screening, or other trust checks. Identity review may include manual review of uploaded government ID images and selfies, AI-assisted document quality checks, AI-assisted one-to-one face comparison, or third-party services. AI results are advisory only; a FindTalents admin makes the final badge decision. Badges and verification status reflect information submitted and reviewed in good faith at a point in time. They are not guarantees of skill, safety, legality, insurance coverage limits, future conduct, or suitability for any job. You remain solely responsible for deciding who to hire, who to work for, and whether a person is suitable for your property, family, or business.
6. Bookings, cancellations, and performance
A Booking is created when parties agree on terms through the platform and payment is authorized per our flow. Talent may accept or decline requests. Customers and Talent must communicate honestly about scope, access, materials, and timing. Repeated no-shows, abandonment, or material misrepresentation may result in account action. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscription discounts apply as described at booking time and do not stack.
7. Payments, escrow, fees, and taxes
Customer payments are processed by our payment processor and held in escrow until the Customer confirms completion, the auto-release window expires after Talent marks work complete, or a dispute is resolved. Platform fees are disclosed before you commit. FindTalents never stores raw card numbers. You authorize us and our processors to charge, hold, release, refund, or split funds per these Terms and dispute outcomes. Talent are solely responsible for income taxes, business licenses, and reporting. Prices shown on the platform may not include sales tax unless explicitly stated.
8. No off-platform payments
Users must not solicit or accept payment outside FindTalents for work discovered, negotiated, or booked through the platform. Off-platform payment voids escrow protection, dispute tooling, and fee obligations tied to platform use, and may result in suspension or termination. Limited exceptions (for example, tips not required by the platform) do not permit bypassing escrow for the core service price.
9. Subscriptions and talent plans
Talent may offer recurring subscription plans; Customers may subscribe for standing discounts on future jobs with that Talent. Subscription billing is handled through our payment processor under separate subscription terms shown at signup. Cancellation, renewal, and failed payment rules follow the plan checkout flow and processor policies. Platform fees on subscriptions may differ from job fees as disclosed in pricing.
10. Disputes and chargebacks
Either party may open a dispute before escrow releases. Both parties should submit evidence promptly. FindTalents admins may release funds to Talent, refund the Customer, or apply a partial split. This is a good-faith administrative process, not binding arbitration, and does not waive either party's rights under applicable law. Initiating a chargeback while a dispute is open may delay resolution. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination.
11. Reviews, ratings, and content
Reviews are two-way and tied to completed jobs where applicable. You grant FindTalents a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute Content you submit for operating and promoting the platform. Content must be accurate, lawful, and not defamatory, harassing, or infringing. Fake, incentivized, coordinated, or retaliatory reviews are prohibited. We may remove Content, adjust reputation, and suspend accounts without prior notice where necessary.
12. Intellectual property
FindTalents and its licensors own the platform, trademarks, logos, software, and design. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or written permission. If you believe Content infringes your copyright, contact us with a DMCA-style notice including identification of the work, the material, and your contact information.
13. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the platform for fraud, harassment, discrimination, illegal services, stolen goods, unsafe work, fee circumvention, scraping, automated abuse, malware, impersonation, or interference with other users. You may not use FindTalents to recruit users to competing services in violation of these Terms. See the Community Guidelines for examples. We may investigate and cooperate with law enforcement.
14. Assumption of risk
Services occur in the physical world, often in private homes and businesses. You assume risks inherent in in-person services, including property damage, personal injury, theft, and miscommunication. FindTalents does not inspect job sites, tools, or methods. Customers should take reasonable precautions; Talent should maintain appropriate insurance and comply with local laws.
15. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION, OR THAT ANY USER IS RELIABLE OR QUALIFIED.
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINDTALENTS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY SERVICE PERFORMED BY USERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE PLATFORM FEES WE EARNED FROM THE BOOKING GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED BY LAW.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FindTalents and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, your services or interactions with other users, your Content, your breach of these Terms or applicable law, or any injury or damage caused by your acts or omissions.
18. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at any time for violations, risk, fraud, legal requirements, or protection of users, with or without notice where permitted. You may close your account through account settings. Provisions that by nature should survive (payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, dispute resolution) survive termination.
19. Electronic communications
You consent to receive transactional and service-related communications electronically, including email and in-app notices. You agree that electronic agreements and notices satisfy any legal writing requirement where permitted.
20. Third-party services
Payments, identity verification, AI-assisted review, email, storage, maps, analytics, screening, and other features may be provided by third parties. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy practices. FindTalents is not responsible for third-party outages, errors, or acts, but we use these providers to operate and protect the platform.
21. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, labor disputes, internet failures, or government action.
22. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where FindTalents is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue for disputes not resolved informally, unless applicable law requires otherwise. You and FindTalents agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution before filing suit.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version with an updated "Last updated" date and version number. Material changes may also be notified by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the platform and close your account.
24. General
If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Talent Agreement (if applicable) are the entire agreement regarding the platform.
